Our Trip to Benin

The leadership of Abake's Foundation has spent a little over three weeks in West Africa in the Republic of Benin.

Food distribution

A philanthropist in Benin generously donated one ton of rice along with 250 litters of cooking oil.

Medical Help

There were also some unplanned events which helped our foundation receive a better understanding of the situation on the ground of Benin.

Every One Dollar Campaign

What can one dollar really buy you these days? Thanks to Abake’s Foundation a dollar is all it takes to feed a starving family. Millions of children in Africa are without food, without homes, and often, without hope.

Our First Container

It has turned out to be a flood of clothing, books, toys, household items, and furniture completely filling a forty foot (extra high) shipping container.

Why?

“Abake" means "Child To Be Cherished" in the West African regional language. We believe that all children deserve to be cherished because they are born into the world innocent.

Our Goal

Abake's Foundation will work toward making it possible to give children a chance to make their aspirations and dreams become a reality, beginning with education.
