Distribution of Foodstuffs

Distributing basic staple food can have a huge effect of a families well-being. Hungry children cannot focus on their studies, and worried parents cannot properly care for the child's needs if there is a severe shortage of nutritional sustenance.

Abake's Foundation can purchase local foodstuffs, and then personally deliver it to key areas where there is much suffering from hunger and malnutrition. Several areas in Benin have been brought to our attention by both the local government, as well as concerned citizens who are heartbroken to witness large scale poverty.

There are many locations both within major West African cities, as well as much more rural villages where people go to bed hungry, without any hope for relief.We estimate that $1USD can effectively feed one child for at least one full day.

In our “Every One Dollar” campaign, we aim to use your dollars to purchase as much domestic provisions as possible. Food stuffs are purchased by our foundation at local wholesale markets in order to insure premium quality as well as to stimulate the local economy.

By targeting many key areas for hands on distribution we insure that the provisions are disbursed well throughout a wider area and a large number of hungry people eat.

Distribution of General Donated items

Items Like Clothing, Furniture, and Household Items Abake's Foundation can go on the ground and evaluative for ourselves what the needs are of people in various parts of the region in order to create a detailed list of specific needs required for the betterment of their specific lifestyles.

We will receive and compile donated clothing, household items, and furniture pieces to be shipped overseas where we will personally reclaim and distribute the contents based on the needs which were assessed by our assessment team. Areas like remote rural villages, and poverty stricken urban areas will receive clothing.
