The American foundation “ABAKE Foundation” is coming to the aid of the most disadvantaged students in several municipalities in Benin at the start of the 2020-2021 school year.
From Sême Kpodji to Tchaorou via Fifadji in the commune of Cotonou, Cococodji in the commune of Abomey- Calavi, Grand popo, Dassa Zoumè and Savè, the emissaries of the foundation headed by the national coordinator Madame Chérita WALTER sowed the seeds of joy in many Beninese families through the distribution of 1000 school kits to the poorest learners in our primary schools from CI to CM2.
The delegation’s journey began with the commune of Sême Kpodji which will benefit from Monday, September 28, 2020, the day of the start of the school year in Benin, from the generosity of the foundation of Madame ASSONGBA Abakè DE ROSA.
More than 1000 School Kits were distributed to children in five primary schools. In this case the public primary school YEMANLIN, DJEFFA, DJEFFA GLEGBONOU, SEKANDJI 3 and the center of the world association of appeal to Islam. Each school received 200 kits made up of materials adapted to the educational level of the learners judiciously chosen in advance by the managers of the said establishments from among the most disadvantaged children.
The recipients were full of words to thank their donor. They took the opportunity to submit other grievances to the foundation.
In turn, the coordinator, after specifying how many times the happiness of these innocent souls preoccupied the structure she coordinates in Benin, promised at each stage that the foundation will soon return with full arms for other works even more beneficial to the beninese population.
